Graduated in 1983 from Vassar College, a renowned liberal arts college, and subsequently went on to get Masters degrees in Business Administration and Education. He learned French and Spanish both at University and in-country, mainly in France, Spain, and Chile where he fit in comfortably since he has an affinity for world cultures as well as languages. He has also played many sports as well as studying decades worth of Tai-Chi for health and Wing Chun as a martial art.

In addition to formal study in languages and the social sciences Drew has picked up practical skills along the way such as interior decorating and light home construction. Perhaps as a capstone achievement, during the 2 years of Covid-related lockdown he composed a religion which encourages faith in things that are verifiable or measurable.

Drew prefers to train and consult in person in the mid Hudson Valley area of New York State but virtual sessions can also be arranged.
