I acquired some of the skills during the nearly 2-year Covid slowdown, and I retained some that I had acquired during my younger formative years. None of these changes required large leaps of blind faith, but I can help you develop faith in yourself that you can steadily make small bits of progress, and that these will add up to large and positive changes if you decide to devote effort and practice to them. Here are some examples of what I can help you learn:

1. The “soft style” martial art Wing Chun gives the light to moderate exercise that a non-athlete can handle but also feels very practical as well as artistic.

2. Tai Chi, a gentle and slow motion exercise developed a few thousand years ago in China, has improved both my physical and emotional health significantly.

3. The principles behind my life coaching have enabled me to overcome bad habits and add good ones. That in turn has enabled me to live at a higher level than mere survival – I have a good amount of influence or “agency” over my life and am not just a helpless follower of circumstances.

4. I have much self-training in interior design and light home construction/demolition that I could either instruct you in or perform for you. Everyone feels better in handsome surroundings!

5. The principles behind the religion I composed are similar to the life coaching but they cover more social and theological situations as well as individual ones. This new compilation of ideas is not starry-eyed wishfulness, nor is it based on someone being your “motivational guru”, but rather it’s a collection of reasonable and observable phenomena based on many years of being inquisitive, paying attention, and respecting the scientific process.
